McDonalds Corporation has acquired the two restaurants in Ames (and 4 in the surrounding area) as of October 2021 and now will operate 25 McDonald's restaurants in Iowa. We proudly employ over 1,500 hardworking Iowans. Our strong values start and end with supporting the community that supports us, which includes holding fundraisers, donating to causes in the area and so much more. We are looking forward to becoming part of the community and providing great service and quality food to all of Ames!
